Favela Kombat: Girls Figth Back

In Rio de Janeiro's favelas, Brazilian capital of drug cartels, I had the privileg to meet a group of women who have all suffered or witnessed some kind of abuse. However, against all odds, they found an unconventional and powerfull way to fght back. Out of a hopeless life, they have learned - and taught me - how to punch life back. I found these brave and determined women all dreaming of participating in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the largest Mixed Martial Arts event in the world, and one of the most popular sports in Brazil.
